Dryos
West of Dryos, at the location Pyrgaki, a proto-Cycladic cemetery from the 2nd millennium BC was discovered. Inland, on an elevation (300 meters), lies the Monastery of Saint George, showcasing Cycladic architecture. Nearby is the Cave of Demons, featuring stalactites, stalagmites, and traces of habitation from prehistoric times, though it remains undeveloped. Above Dryos lies a small, picturesque settlement called Aspro Chorio.
Some of them are, to the south, the famous beach of Lolandonis, a nice sandy beach, with shallow turquoise waters and big tamarisk trees and to the north, you will find the sandy beach of Chrysis Aktis, the largest beach of Paros, it is a real paradise for them who love the sea and water sports. Above Drios beach you will also find taverns for food with a beautiful view as well as a bar with rock music.
A notable celebration for Dryos is the festival of Saint John on May 8 and the feast of Myrtidiotissa on September 26.
